Mural painting on canvas inspired by Rubens’ Hippopotamus and Crocodile Hunt, c. 1615
This mural painting on canvas was my client’s choice. He loves Rubens’ work and wanted a mural on canvas based on the artist’s painting “Hippopotamus and Crocodile Hunt”, c 1915, with a few changes (see the original online). After completing the mural painting on canvas, the canvas was shipped to Mexico City to its new home. I traveled to my client and adhered the canvas to the wall and you can see it in this picture.
An empty wall is my canvas. I enjoy painting large-scale murals as art or decoration. This wall could be located in someone’s house, in an office, or in a public space. It can be a building’s wall or a truck’s wall, indoor or outdoor.
Every area of a space could be transformed with an eye-catching mural, whether classical or modern, complex or minimalistic. A simple accent on a small area will create a major positive impact in your space.
I would be happy to hear your ideas! Let’s bring them to life! I can meet you and discuss your project or we can discuss over the phone.
